ESR Connect: glamorous!

At ECR 2019, for the first time, we invited all our attendees to be a star!
The ESR Connect channel turned out to be a full success. Countless contributions at the ESR Connect studio and everywhere in the ECR City resulted in almost 100 clips, interviews, round table discussions and image videos, covering all major activities on site. The footage was broadcast on screens all over the venue and viewed over 3,000 times on the ECR 2019 App during the congress.
Thank you for being a part of ESR Connect, an ECR 2019 premiere!

Imaging biomarkers in gastric cancer

This article evaluates two imaging biomarkers through a systematic review of published data: the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) from DW-MRI and textural features from CE-MDCT in the assessment of aggressiveness, and treatment response and prognosis of gastric cancer. (Eur Radiol)

Hip and thigh muscle injuries

This pictorial review illustrates what a radiologist needs to know for the detection and classification of muscle injuries of the hip and thigh on MRI focusing on fluid-sensitive and T1-weighted MRI sequences. (Insights Imaging)

4D flow MRI sequences

This study investigates the potential of Four-dimensional (4D) flow MRI sequences with advanced parallel imaging in the reduction of scan time, maintaining image quality and accuracy, using a flow phantom at 3 T. (Eur Radiol Exp)

MRI based biopsy techniques for prostate cancer diagnosis

This multicentre randomised controlled trial compares the detection rates of three MRI-based targeted biopsy techniques for overall Prostate Cancer (PCa) and clinically significant PCa in patients with negative systematic biopsy and a high clinical suspicion of PCa. (Eur Urol)

Low dose CT in lymphangioleiomyomatosis

This study evaluates the clinical utility of CT scans performed at radiation doses equivalent to that of a posteroanterior and lateral chest radiograph series in lymphangioleiomyomatosis. (Chest)

Radiomics of elastography in liver fibrosis

In this prospective multicentre study, the authors evaluate the efficacy of deep learning Radiomics of Elastography in the quantitative assessment of liver fibrosis stages. (Gut)
